Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat PRESTIGE MEET ON SEPTEMBER 14 & 15, 2024
The Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat PRESTIGE event takes place in the enchanting setting of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat harbour, under the patronage of the FFVE and the FIVA. Dedicated to car heritage, with a Concours d'Élégance and an exhibition, it welcomes many participants and visitors each year. Organised every September, the event has quickly gained a reputation for the quality of the vehicles presented. The 2024 edition will take place on September 14th and 15th.
Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat PRESTIGE brings together two events, PRESTIGE Patrimoine, an exhibition in the form of an ephemeral museum, over two days, and the Concours d'Élégance de Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, on Sunday, September 15th. Each edition focuses on a specific theme, in 2020 it was Alpine cars, in 2021 Porsche and in 2022 we celebrated "The Italian Beauties" ; in 2023, British Car Heritage was under the spotlight. In 2024, the event will focus on the beauty of German Automotive Engineering.
The soul and philosophy of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat PRESTIGE is based on the promotion of the world's automotive heritage: the car is a witness to every era since its existence. Each year, the FFVE & FIVA send representatives from their management to serve as de facto members of the Concourse of Elegance Jury, chaired by Thierry Boutsen. The 2024 event also sees the launch of a close relationship with the Automobile Club of Nice. SJCF PRESTIGE 2024 will be once again exhibiting iconic cars from all eras, in line with its role as an ephemeral museum of automotive heritage.
The Elegance Concourse is only open to coupés and cabriolets. As in previous editions, a number of trophies will be awarded to competitors. In the FFVE classes, elegance is the rule, particularly for the crews, but regarding the SJCF PRESTIGES Trophies, only the cars are rewarded. Participants to the concours will be chosen by the selecting committee among the PRESTIGE Patrimoine exhibitors.
SJCF PRESTIGE 2024 will feature several sub-themes, to include "matching cars" (the road version alongside the racing version of the same car) as well as an "automotive crafts" pavilion presenting expertise in car renovation. This tenth edition sees the creation of a new exhibition zone :PRESTIGE Sports Automobiles, which will feature racing cars. In 2024, it will feature rally icons.
The 2024 edition is place under the High Patronage of S.A.S. the Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Each year, the event allows visitors and participants to meet friends, share ideas with enthusiasts, enjoy the entertainment and the exceptional setting of Saint-Cap-Ferrat, as well as the many restaurants in the Marina. It is also the opportunity to meet collectors, many of whom are present for the occasion. As in 2023, we will be making it easier for visitors to park, with spaces available on the Avenue de Verdun on the heights of the Cap. A shuttle bus will be running to and from the harbour every 20 minutes.
The event is benefiting from a very Dolce Vita atmosphere, relaxed and elegant, with the many visitors enjoying the harbour's restaurants, the cultural activities and coastal walkways. There is no doubt that the unique setting of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and soothing security are also key factors in success of SJCF PRESTIGE. Work on social media such as INSTAGRAM (#SJCF_PRESTIGE) has also helped to raise the profile of the event.
In 2021, Mr Jean-Francois Dieterich, Mayor of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, received a special trophy from the FFVE for the Municipality's sustained action in favour of the celebration and promotion of the automotive heritage.
